Electric vehicle sector

The electric vehicle industry includes all establishments engaged in the manufacture of heavy trucks, specialized vehicles, low-speed vehicles , automotive , light trucks and city buses. This includes the battery and direct aids , the electric traction system , the regenerative braking system , the electric water pump and gearbox fitted.

Currently in Canada , manufacturers of electric vehicles and their suppliers do not form a separate industry. Many suppliers of assembly plants for electric vehicles also deal with assembly plants automotive internal combustion part , therefore, the global automotive industry.
